You will be empowered to make the shopping experience thrilling and seamless for our guest and be part of a dedicated team that shows pride and passion in all they do!\nAS A CASHIER A TYPICAL DAY INCLUES THE FOLLOWING:\n• Being part of a team that delivers an exceptional guest experience and drives sales through customer service\n• Creating a welcoming experience by authentically greeting every guest, every time\n• Making a connection with guests by engaging in friendly and genuine conversation throughout each transaction\n• Role modeling established guest experience practices with internal and external customers\n• Adapting to different guest interactions and situations and through a blend of problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns\n• Building guest loyalty through promoting and educating the guest on Bealls credit and loyalty programs\n• Maintaining all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the register areas\n• Accurately handling register operations and transactions with awareness of the guest wait time\n• Usage of company standard software, systems, and procedures\n• Performs other duties as assigned\nWHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN A BEALLS OR HOME CENTRIC CASHIER:\n• Customer Service Experience Preferred\n• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and possesses excellent customer service skills\n• Strong verbal communication skills\n• Work both independently and with a team to accomplish tasks, solve problems, and achieve goals\n• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members\n• Attention to detail and follows multi-step processes\n• Utilization of Zebra PDA and POS Systems\n• Ability to work varying hours and schedules to include days, mid shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\n• Must have adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations\n• Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry at least 20 pounds\n• Must have full body rotation and mobility (i.e. – bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching)\n• Must possess reliable transportation\nCome join a team that brings a people-first approach to everything we do! bealls and Home Centric are a part of Bealls Inc., a family owned and operated business where “We Outfit the Family for Less”.
